Therapist Information:
Michelle Ropeter holds a Master's of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. She is also a registered Play Therapist through the association for play therapy. She excels with relating to younger clients through art, sand trays, puppets, and other various techniques. This makes the counseling process far less daunting for children and gives them a fun outlet for therapy. Michelle has been recognized for organization, initiative, sensitivity, motivation, leadership and dedication.
Michelle has experience working in both private and public healthcare settings, serving diverse populations, including prison health, nursing and rehab centers, foster care and adoption, and hospice. She has, in addition, served internships at both St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
